Mini of the Week 3-3-17

Welcome back to Mini of the Week, where every Friday I will find a miniature from around the web that exemplifies an aspect of our hobby and share it with you.

Drycha Hamadreth by KAHA on Cool Mini or Not

Today's Mini of the Week is this amazing Drycha model. KAHA has done some other amazing models recently, including Archaon and Alarielle. Their style is extremely distinct and pretty awesome looking. I love the drastic changes in colors between the bark and the blues, greens, and oranges. All of the painting is extremely smooth and crisp, just as you would expect from something of this quality. Most impressive to me though are the crazy detailed textures painted onto everything.

The bark has a ton of tiny lines painted on it to really make it look like bark, and the base is just mesmerizing. All of the glow effects really push the saturation of color too. I don't know what more I can really say about this, it's just insanely good and I highly recommend that you check out more of KAHA's pictures. I follow them on Instagram and at the moment they are painting up an equally as good Magnus the Red in the same kind of style.

Be sure to check out more views of the model on Cool Mini or Not and show the artist some love if you like it.

Until next time,

Tyler M.
