SHOWCASE: An "Orkgor" Tells No Jokes

There are armies with a few conversions and a slight theme running throughout, then there are armies like Oscar's Orkgors. The idea behind it is great, but most importantly, the execution of it is on point. To me, these look like they could be official Games Workshop models, they work so well. Take a look at the ever growing orkgor horde and try and tell me you don't feel the hand of Gork (or possible Mork) involved.

GALLERY: The Art of the Unofficial Tomb Kings Battletome

The Unofficial Tomb Kings Battletome that I released several months ago had a ton of awesome original artwork in it. Though you can see all of it in the Battletome itself, I thought I would take the opportunity to showcase the artwork on its own as well talk to each of the artists a little bit about their work and Warhammer in general.

OVERVIEW: Coalescence - The Endless Deserts

Coalescence, the global one day narrative event for Age of Sigmar, has come and gone and it was a tremendous success! Locally I ran my own event, set in the Endless Deserts of course. With 10 players fighting for our Keystone Shard, the Eye of Ptra, it was a super fun day with plenty of stories to tell from all of our games.

TUTORIAL: Sons of Dorn Primaris Marine

When I first saw the new Primaris Marines I went through a few different ideas of how I would paint them, Ultramarines, Flesh Tearers, Crimson Fists; but in the end I decided this was the perfect opportunity to resurrect my own chapter from more than 10 years ago, the Sons of Dorn.

REVEIW: The Warhammer 40,000 Indexes

Largely equivalent to the Grand Alliance books for AoS, the new 40k released a series of five Indexes to cover all of the rules for every existing army and currently in production model for the system on day of launch. So what exactly do these books cover and how much do they have for each faction?

REVIEW: The New Warhammer 40,000 Rulebook

I was lucky enough to get a review copy of the Dark Imperium boxset, which comes with the same full, hardcover rulebook for 40k that you can buy separately. Not only have the rules been radically revised, but the background of the setting is moving forward in a big way for the first time in over a decade. So, let's crack it open and take a look inside!

REVIEW: Vaults of Terra - The Carrion Throne

I'm a big fan of Inquisition books, you can blame the Eisenhorn and Ravenor series for that, and when I saw this new book coming out by Chris Wraight I knew I wanted to read it right away. Exploring the Inquisition allows authors to bring to life all of the day to day smaller stuff about the Imperium that we know is there but often gets overlooked in giant war novels. This one even takes place on Terra itself at the close of the 41st millennium, giving us our first in depth look at the throne world. So, does The Carrion Throne live up to the reputation set by its predecessors?
