REVIEW: Warhammer Quest - Shadows over Hammerhal

The newest version of Warhammer Quest, Shadows over Hammerhal, is out now and it's just as good as you would have hoped. This is it's own self contained game and not just an expansion that relies on Silver Tower to work, and it's all the better for it. It takes the rules from Silver Tower and adds to them and tweaks them in a way that makes this its own game, all while providing some great models and a bunch of background lore on the Mortal Realms' largest new city, Hammerhal.

REVIEW: Angels of Caliban

Angels of Caliban by Gav Thorpe is the latest entry in the saga of The Lion, Primarch of the Dark Angels, as the Heresy continues to unfold. Always one of the most controversial Primarchs, this book does an excellent job of further exploring him and making you question his motives even more, all while eerily mirroring a lot of current events in the real world.

REVIEW: Asurmen - The Darker Road

The Black Library was kind enough to send me some stuff to review, including the audio drama, Asurmen: The Darker Road by Gav Thorpe. I haven't read the Asurmen novel, yet I still really enjoyed this audio drama as the Phoenix Lord attempts to secure the future of the Ulthwé Craftworld.

REVIEW: Nagash the Undying King

The first Warhammer World exclusive novel for Age of Sigmar is out in the public now, and what an amazing tome it is. Not only does it look awesome, but the story by Josh Reynolds is one of the best I've read for AoS so far.

SHOWCASE: Vanguard Nighthaunts Army

Today I have my first 1,000 point army built solely for Age of Sigmar! I picked the Nighthaunts in the fall and finished them over the course of about a month and a half, and what a fun army they were to paint.

Mini of the Year Winner

It was a super close contest this year, with several models being neck and neck in number of votes as late as yesterday. The dust has cleared though and there can be only one Model of the Year for 2016. So who beat out the rest to claim the title?

SHOWCASE: Painted by G's 500 point Chaos Army

Today I have a special guest article by the very talented Painted by G. I saw his small Chaos army he took to Blood and Glory and was instantly in awe of it. Every model is converted and painted to such a high standard, and uniquely amongst AoS, it's an Undivided army!

An American in Warhammer World's Court

For every hobbyist who doesn't live in the U.K. one of your dreams is to one day visit the center of the hobby, Warhammer World. For those of us in the States it's even harder to get to, being on the other side of the Atlantic and all. I was lucky enough to be in England on vacation recently though and of course, one of my days was set aside for a trip to Nottingham and Warhammer World and it definitely didn't disappoint.
