Warhammer 40k Indomitus Unboxing Video!!!

I have something a little different and new this week that I haven't done before, an unboxing video of the new Indomitus boxset for 40k!

I know, I know, this is just a video, where's the written article? Well, it's coming. I plan on having my written review of this set up, which will go into a bit more detail, sometime next week, or at the latest the following week. I originally planned on having a different article this week, but the date we were allowed to talk about this got moved up, so here it is! To be fair, I haven't had much time to work on a proper article for this week either since I've been focusing on this boxset which I received on Tuesday. A big thank you to Games Workshop for sending me one to review as well.

As you can see, there's a lot in there! I've already started putting together some of the new Necrons, which I love. They're so easy to put together. Everything is push fit as usual for a starter set. Normally I cut a lot of the pegs off of push fit models and just glue them, but the way most of these have fit together so far has meant that about half the model has no glue, just pushed together! I'm still gluing them in a few areas, but between that and the rest of the push fit parts I have a lot of confidence that they'll stay together.

I've also put together the new Space Marine Captain model that comes in the set. I think this is one of my favorite all-time Marine sculpts. That helmet, with the front open, is just awesome. It may look like I have him all put together, but he's actually in subassemblies thanks to the magic of push fit. His arm holding the shield isn't glued on, as well as his back pack. I've glued the head to the back half of his torso, but the two torso halves aren't glued together yet, so I can more easily paint between the tabard cloth. He also isn't glue to his base yet. I'm still deciding on what Chapter to paint him, but I'm leaning towards Ultramarines.

Without further ado, enjoy the unboxing video and check back throughout the next few weeks for even more coverage of the new Indomitus box set! Also, let me know if more unboxing videos would be something you'd be interested in for the future.

Until next time,

Tyler M.
