Mini of the Week 12/15/17

Welcome back to Mini of the Week, where every Friday I will find a miniature from around the web that exemplifies an aspect of our hobby and share it with you.

Wow. Just simply, wow. This, this is an amazing model. The idea, the conversion, the painting, just everything on it is amazing. I can definitely say this is the single best conversion of a Stormcast model for 40k that I have seen. This looks like a piece of Adrian Smith art come to life as a model. Everything about it screams Slaanesh, but in such an understated, and flawless way. There must be so much sculpting work on this, it's insane. It's all top notch sculpting too. If I didn't know this was based off the Blacktalon model, I would think this was a new sculpt from GW or Forge World.

The painting on this is great as well. Not only is everything crisp and smooth, but the color choice is perfect as well. It definitely says Slaanesh, but without being to gaudy. I really like the desaturated purple used as the main color. I really don't know what else to say about this except, wow. I HIGHLY recommend you check out the rest of the pictures of this on their website. This is part of an "advent calendar" they're doing, where each day this month they are posting up a new, awesomely converted mini. It's well worth checking back in with them each day. I wouldn't be surprised if another one of their advent minis finds its way in the Mini of the Week.

Be sure to check out more views of the model on Blog de Kouzes and show the artist some love if you like it.

Until next time,

Tyler M.
