Welcome back to Mini of the Week, where every Friday I will find a miniature from around the web that exemplifies an aspect of our hobby and share it with you.
Gordrakk by Martin Waller |
Here you can see the amount of detail he even put into the skin on the back that's mostly covered by the armor. The blueish green spots on the upper back are a nice little touch and again adds a new level of realism to the skin. It makes Gordrakk look older, which works for the biggest, baddest Megaboss in the Mortal Realms. The black and lava of the base is the perfect frame for the model with the bright red drawing your eye. All in all this is definitely an extremely deserving model to win the Slayer Sword. Congratulations Martin!
Today I also want to mention a charity raffle on The Grand Alliance Community for the Warhammer World exclusive Errant-Questor Stormcast and the Forge World Fimirach Noble from Dangermouse452. All you have to is buy as many raffle tickets as you want and then this Sunday he will draw a winner for each model. The charity the money is being donated to is to save Greyhounds in the UK from being euthanized after races. It's a great cause and you have a chance of winning some cool models as well! Save the puppies and save the Realms!
You can find more info about it, including how to get a raffle ticket here. If you want to read more about the charity itself you can find more info here.
Until next time,
Tyler M.
