Courage and Honor!

I found these guys in my basement over the holidays. I originally painted them up back when they first came out, they were for the display cabinet of the GW I worked at. That was about 7 years ago so I thought I could spruce them up a bit.

I don't know why I keep not taking before and after pictures but oh well. I didn't touch the white much and the armor just received some brighter highlights and battle damage along with making it slightly crisper. I re-did the bolters and purity seals as well but where I spent most of the time on each model was the face, since its the focal point. They are getting thrown up on eBay tonight. Let me know what you think.

I realized that not dust on the close ups, just the shinyness from the blue Ink I used to shade these guys when I first painted them. I'm thinking about painting up a new pair of these minis as part of a diorama for the Golden Demon. Let me know what you think.

As always be sure to vote for him on CMoN here and you can bid for them on eBay here.

  1. Like the blue, nice and bright. Makes battle damage and potmarking more visable IMHO.
