Hey everyone, I started work on this guy in between layers on one of my Golden Demon entries and got carried away. This model is a lot of fun to paint and the skin is much more detailed then the normal GW demons.
I painted the skin in the same way that I paint the Plaguebearers but a little more vague since the skin surfaces are larger. I used a lot of glazes to try and make transitions smoother and there are not as many sharp highlights on him, again because it is larger.
Since I took these photos (with my phone by the way so sorry for the quality) I have finished most of the metals and have started basecoating the carapace.

Really wonderfully putrid and decaying flesh tones. I love the grey, mottled decaying flesh colour you managed. Hideously terrific stuff!
