REVIEW: Bonesplitterz Battletome

With the Ironjawz we have already seen the disciplined, highly armored orruks, but what about their more feral cousins? The Bonesplitterz are here now with all of their manic energy and a brand new Battletome continuing on in the style of the Sylvaneth. That means Allegiance Abilities, Magic Items, new spells, and fantastic new lore!

REVIEW: Dominion of Chaos Battletome

The new Dominion of Chaos Battletome is coming out and I was lucky enough to get an early look at it. This is very much the counterpart to the Dreadhold Battletome that came out almost a year ago, full of warscrolls for the scenery we use in our games of AoS, along with Battleplans, and Warscroll Battalions.

REVIEW: Getting Started with Age of Sigmar Magazine

Today I have an extra article for the week, a review of a great new addition to the Age of Sigmar line. The Getting Started magazine is a fantastic idea and it even comes with a free Stormcast Eternal Liberator! The magazine clocks in at around 90 pages and is full color and lavishly designed. This is the perfect entrance for a new player and a fun read for veterans as well.

REVIEW: Ironwarp Citadel

I was lucky enough to be able to get ahold of one of the Warhammer World exclusive Ironwarp Citadel books recently. This book is meant to go along with their new giant Age of Sigmar display at the museum and is chocked full of awesome pictures of it. Not only that but it was three new Battleplans and a handful of new battalion formations as well!

TUTORIAL: Ogroid Thoumaturge by Kelly Frieborg

Today I have hobbyist extraordinaire Kelly Frieborg showing off her brand new Ogroid Thoumaturge with a painting tutorial. You may have seen her awesome Alarielle model that GW shared on their Facebook page the other week. Without further ado, here she is!

TUTORIAL: Cinematic Wargaming Pictures

The other week I put together this picture for a game my friend and I were playing. I had done this already for my Endless Deserts site and quite enjoy making them. They are a combination of model pictures and real photography and not that hard to make if you have a basic understanding of Photoshop or a similar photo editing tool.

Season of War Painting Competition!

It's that time of year again, time for another painting competition here at Mengel Miniatures! With the Season of War campaign kicking off it seemed like the perfect opportunity to theme it around Age of Sigmar's newest narrative chapter. This time we also have some pretty spectacular prize support from Ministomp too. So what are you waiting for?

REVIEW: All-Gates

The Realmgate wars have raged for close to a year now and they are finally coming to an end with the climatic book All-Gates. The time has come for Sigmar to make his move. The Allpoints must be cut off at all costs. Will the forces of Order prevail or will Chaos reign?

REVIEW: Sylvaneth Battletome

I was lucky enough to get an advanced review copy of the new Sylvaneth Battletome from GW and man oh man is this book good. They took a faction that was originally just a small part of a larger army and did a fantastic job at expanding it into a full fledged army, and in my opinion, one of the most interesting and visually appealing factions in the game.
